Crow Day Afternoon (鴉たちの午後 Karasutachi no Gogo) is the 104th chapter of the Prison School manga, serialized in Weekly Young Magazine on August 5th, 2013 and published in tankobon format in Volume 11 on December 6th, 2013.
Summary[]
Chiyo and a friend of hers meets Kate in the school hallway; Kate tells Chiyo that her sister, Mari, is quite troublesome. Outside, Meiko and Risa are walking with each other outside of the prison, and Kiyoshi sees them, wondering why they are doing this. Meanwhile at the prison, Risa is giving Meiko her new job; it's to burn all the leaves in the area. Risa also gives her a sweet potato that she can roast, Meiko eventually coming to the decision to try to fix her relationship with her friends over roasted potatoes. Meiko is having more trouble burning the leaves than she thought that she would, causing Mari to worry due to it taking a long time for her to get back. Due to Meiko struggling to burn the leaves, a large fire breaks out, catching the attention of Kiyoshi, Chiyo, and Mari from a long distance away; Mari catches on and comes to her aid to rescue her. Mari says that there's bird hatchlings in a nearby tree and begs for Meiko to save them, but Kiyoshi shows up and attempts to stop her, succeeding. Later, Meiko is sulking, blaming herself for starting the fire as Kate chastises her; Kate also criticizes Mari for rushing over to her, saying that counts as escaping. Kate then extends the sentences of the Underground Student Council, after which making a verbal example out of them in front of everyone else who is watching, and claims that they wish to completely disband the Underground Student Council entirely.
